These terms govern your use of horizonmesquite.com, operated by Horizon Mesquite Inc., a Delaware corporation. By using the site, you accept them. They are short, because the site is simple: nothing is for sale here yet.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist places you first in line for launch news and first access when the product is available. It is not an order, a reservation, or a contract to buy. No payment is taken, and neither of us owes the other anything. When the product launches, purchases will be governed by separate terms of sale presented at that time.
About the content
Everything on this site, the writing, photography, illustrations, and the Horizon Mesquite name and marks, belongs to Horizon Mesquite Inc. or its licensors. You are welcome to read, share links, and quote briefly with attribution. Please do not reproduce substantial parts of the site, or use our name or imagery commercially, without asking first. We are easy to reach.

We write about mesquite, its history, and how people have used it. That writing is offered for general interest, not as medical or nutritional advice. Nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and no statement here has been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. If you have a health condition or a question about whether mesquite suits you, ask a qualified professional.
Acceptable use
Use the site as it is meant to be used. Do not attempt to breach its security, scrape it at scale, misrepresent your identity to us, or use it for anything unlawful.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Horizon Mesquite Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, and our total liability to you in connection with the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms as the site evolves; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
